Welcome to the Past, Present, and Future of Agriculture

WHO WE ARE

The John de la Howe (JDLH) School Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) established to support the South Carolina Governor's School for Agriculture. The school is a state-funded, public, residential high school focused on providing a unique and challenging agricultural education program for 10th , 11th, and 12th grade students. Our school, the first statewide program of its kind in the nation, will allow students to receive hands-on training in agriculture, agribusiness, forestry, land management, food science, and more. Our recent graduates have launched successful careers in agriculture and will be future industry leaders, solving the complex sustainability and conservation issues of our time.

To provide resources that support the SC Governor's School for Agriculture as a center for agricultural innovation producing future ag leaders.

We envision a future where our graduates are at the forefront of protecting our natural resources and solving the complex sustainability challenges facing the agricultural industry today and tomorrow.
